ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Jackie! I spent about fifteen years in television, commercial, and documentary work before translating those experiences to the nonprofit world. Directing fundraising and branding videos for Disney Family Cancer Center, USC Keck Medicine, UCLA Williams Institute, CHLA (Emmy winning documentary), and more, opened my eyes to the need to tell impactful stories on paper and visually that improve development efforts.

It was challenging to go from an industry where creativity, budgets, deadlines, and efficiency ruled - to the nonprofit world where "that's how it's always been done" was too often the guiding principle.

I've been the sole Communications and Development team driving press and bringing in new donors.

I've worked with few resources to exceed fundraising expectations.

That went on for years and it burned me out. I don't want that for you and am here to help you, your staff, and your organization in times when you need extra support and guidance.

I'm excited to help you with your strategy and goals to get your organization where it should be without burning through your budget and burning out your staff. I want your stakeholders to be excited about the work you're doing!

When I'm not working, I am learning about dementia care, working on a book about my mom a glass artist, advocating for housing for our unhoused neighbors, and photographing life and landscapes. I also care deeply about maternal healthcare, food insecurity, and the well-being of the LGBTQ community. I love  spending time with my family and friends.
